Letters To SPIT:
Volume #2
Sunday, August 13, 2000
Vinnie,
I've been a long time fan of your work and stumbled across your
site via Iuma.Heard you many years ago when you put out "Thrust
and Disgust" and "You Would if you Loved Me".
I've always had this feeling we were twins from paralel universe or something since our music is very close to each other and in the studio I usually work essentially alone myself.
It's funny reading your influences because they're all the same as me.Frank Zappa is my number Idol. The Plasmatics who noone seems to remember all good friends of mine.Wendy is my sons Godmother and shares the same middle name with him "Orleane" although we added an E on the end of it.Wes Beech lives right by me and I've been hanging out with him going on 20 years now.He has come into the studio with me many times with my band The Ted Bundys plus we've done lots of writng together over the years.
The reason I'm getting ahold of you is that I've got a label and distribution plus a new online store.I'd love to do anything I can to help you get your music out there.Would you be interested in having us distribute you and put your CD's in our online store? We could give you a homepage on the site plus MP3's.
The website is still in it's infant stages but is growing and
will offer lot's of features including an online radio station,I
think you would be a cinch to be in our top ten for a long time.Other
features include message boards, personal email accounts,Music
news and the list is going to go on and on.
We will also being doing some columns of absurduty written by"The
Cretin" from the Dayglo Abortions plus myself.Could be another
angle for promotion for yourself if you were interested in submitting
some thoughts on a regular basis.
Check out the site if you wish and let me know what you think and we can go from there. Please feel free to get a hold of me with any questions you may have.
Cheers,

WOW, Vinnie! I had no idea you were soooo popular with the young kids in our area! I just came from a SPIT Party, where your music was blasting the neighborhood. Actually, it was in my living room. My daughter found your CD among our CD rack, and helped herself. Then called a few friends and they brought more of your CD's along. Now I am definitely the COOLEST mom in the neighborhood, because not only did I allow them to play it, I actually owned one of the CD's.
I thought they were all going to faint when I said you were a friend of ours. No one believed me, so I had to bring out one of the pictures of you and Millie. I never saw so many teenage girls become so quiet all at the same time. Anyway, is there an age limit at your shows? The girls want to come to one the next time you perform in the Southern CA area. Let me know when and how to get tickets. I thought you would like to know how popular you are at her school.....you are the rave of it all.
Well, I need to get going. Thank you again for your latest
CD. Hope you had fun in Vegas. Talk to you soon.
Loni :-)

Heya,
Just wanted to let ya know that I love your CD. I'm sitting here by quiet in between article writing sessions (and about to take a nice bubble bath) listening to it. Adore Father Peter: The Pedophile Priest (touches my fallen Catholic heart in a special way), Bill Works for Dad and Friend, especially... still working through the disk. Each song is so dense and packed with so much schtuff that I like to sorta let it soak in before moving on to the next track.
Hey, and I've got a question for you... What do you think the best recent Pacific Force spanking title is?
Thanks,
Darklady/Theresa

If I ever meet Vinnie SPIT....I'm gonna wanna give him a great big kiss...
Just (yeah, I know... fucking finally) finished listening all the way through America's Sweetheart. Love it. Love it. Love it.
Is there a link I could provide to a site where you sell your music?

Thanks for the Catalog, rest assured that I'll be ordering from you in the near future. In the meanwhile, why don't you try to convince Bat from Xorcist to help you come up here to the Bay Area? We'd love to see you. My friend says that he has spoken of your name on many occasions. Oh, I did get 3 CDs of yours already from amazon.com (before I realized that you actually had a web site), but I'll order directly from you next time because that just seems like the thing to do. I actually heard Spit for the first time way back in '95(?) when a friend of mine played the song on KHSU up in Humboldt County... Then a couple of years ago, after I had all but forgotten most of the songs, a new roommate played me your CD and it brought back all the memories. Finally a couple of weeks ago I found your site through the UBL website and was very happy. Keep up the good work.
